I know nothing about instruments but these guys helped me pick out some great electronic drums for an Xmas present for my daughter. I enjoyed spending money here! Great group of people and just hanging out there for a while you could see they all loved what they do. Not to mention there is an impressive collection of guitars hanging there! Fun just to look around even!

I came in to trade some old guitar gear for some studio monitors a couple weeks ago. I was helped by Tony T and my experience was great, he looked up prices for the gear that I was trading and gave me a beyond fair price for everything, talked me through how trading gear worked, was super friendly and knowledgeable in music production. All in all I ended up going home with 2 HS8s and a Scarlett 2i2. Thanks again Tony!
End of an Era... Very sad to see this place go. It was the only music store to go to in Edmonton when we visited. Cory was the best! :(
Am I really to understand that there is a ladies room but no men's room!? The men's room has been converted in favour of a ladies room and a gender neutral bathroom... Which is anything but gender NEUTRAL. It's a great way to alienate potential customers. But you've made it clear that some customers are more valuable to you than others by the way you have posted a sign that literally says "we don't care" on what used to be the men's room door... But evidently you care enough to maintain the sanctity of the ladies room. It's not a problem, there are enough competing businesses in a 20 minute walk that I don't need to give my money to businesses with posted signage indicating their open discrimination.
Whenever I am in Calgary I hit the music stores and Axe Music is one of them. I like that they do Dutch Actions on items. You never know if you will find a good deal on some gear
Couple months ago I was buying a drum set here and ended up running into cc issues and they were the most patient and understanding staff as i figured the whole thing out. The salesman tony was incredibly helpful and even grabbed me a coke while I was on the phone. They were the nicest staff even when they had to deal with someone as difficult as myself.
