Update: After calling to discuss our issue, all they did was repeatedly argue and deny our claims. They say they take this seriously but obviously not serious enough. They didn't even try to apologize. THIS WILL BE THE LAST TIME I WILL EVER ORDER FROM THEM. STOP USING MSG. My order last night specified NO MSG. It makes my wife sick if she has it. Even after remaking part of my order, my wife still ended up feeling sick afterwards. They cannot guarantee my order is free of this unnecessary additive. This will be the last time I will order from them.

First, I was drawn to this August Moon by its score on the Skip The Dishes, so I order the dinner for two, and here we go. All the containers are only about half full! I paid over 30 but what I got was only half container of each dish. And the taste, ginger beef had no ginger flavour, and not crispy at all. Both ginger beef and sweet sour pork are way too sweet, covered everything else. Even worse, only about half of the sweet sour pork is the red meat, rest all pork fat! Rice is regular, vegetable is average, but soup smells like dead fish. As a conclusion, nothing outstanding at all, poor flavour, and the size is too small, again, too small! I can pay less money for more and better food at anywhere else! Not returning, end of story!
Food was incredible, arrived super hot by skip the dishes, was fresh and tasty best Chinese I have had in Calgary so far and I have had a few , some have been great and some not so great but I have had august moon twice now, once 3 years ago and was excellent and then again tonight and still excellent! Will be my go to place now again that I live in the south! What a gem ... down side I asked for chopsticks via the app and none came and no fortune cookies but I guess it is what it is ....
Just ordered off skip because they had a decently priced two person combo, this was honestly some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. The ginger beef and sweet and sour pineapple pork were perfectly crispy and tender. The veggies were sautéed in a delicious sauce, and my boyfriend loved the wonton soup. This is for sure my new go to!! Highly recommend.
Ordered the dinner for 2. Barely any chicken in the chicken fried rice. Sweet and sour pork was way too sweet. Also the ginger beef was sub par. On top of that there website says that you get free delivery on order over 28. Mine was over and yet they charged me delivery fee as well which was not mentioned at the time of ordering. Also the lady that I ordered from I had to spell everything out for her and could barely understand her. Also the portions were small as well. Never again August Moon.
