I am an owner of Montessori school( Kindervalley Montessori Academy). She has been a French teacher for our preschool & Kindergarten aged children since last fall. She is a very enthusiastic French teacher for our children. She prepares curriculum very well before having a lesson all the time. Our children love her a lot.

As an intermediate learner seeking to get back my French back on track, Elia has been invaluable. She tailors each lesson to my needs and tastes, teaching grammar in a way that makes sense (Thanks to her, I finally understand the subjunctive!). She is patient, warm, encouraging and And highly adaptable: when the pandemic hit, she switched to Zoom lessons immediately, and I have continued to progress, despite the absence of in-person lessons. Everyone deserves a French teacher like Elia!
Elia is an amazing French Teacher. She is working with our 6-year-old child for almost a year and she always demonstrates professionalism and dedication. Lesson content is customized for our son’s needs and she often uses a fun way to teach him. She is creative and kind, we would recommend her to all kinds of French learners!
Elia is a dedicated, creative and highly skilled French language teacher. Her teaching techniques are current and relevant. She goes out of her way to find content that is meaningful to her students. For example, she found two short novels and several articles that were interesting and familiar to me. This made a huge difference to my comprehension, not to mention motivation. I’ve worked with Elia in person and online. Elle est la meilleure!!!
Elia of Alternative French has been my french tutor for a couple of years now and she has taken me from a very basic CEFR A1 level to pushing closer towards C1. She has made learning fun and kept me motivated to continue learning and improving. Even better, I'm not only learning french but learning about and discussing a variety of other fields of study, ideas and current topics of interest. And without a doubt, she shows amazing patience teaching me as I'm not a natural language learning; in fact I was pretty convinced learning another language was something that I just couldn't do. If one really wants to learn French, I couldn't recommend her more strongly.
