I have been with Alive Danceworks going on 17 years both as a student and a staff member. The atmosphere of this studio is not like any other. I have always felt welcomed, safe, inspired, and embraced, and truly believe in the 'Aliveness' that this studio promotes. I have so much trust and love for the instructors that helped raise me. Thank you Jenn and Bri for working tireless hours to ensure our dancers are receiving the best experience and quality of dance. I am forever grateful for this studio, and it will always be my home.

My daughter takes class with Miss Kelsey. She absolutely loves dancing with her class. The staff here is very friendly and welcoming. They always have answers to all of my questions. My daughter always comes home with a huge smile on her face and can't wait to go back again. Thank you!!!!

I use to work at alive dance works. So I saw a lot of behind the scenes, I have never seen unprofessionalism in my life. I was very mistreated as a STAFF member. This is not a \home\ like it use to be. All they want is money, they don't care how you feel at the end of the day. I honestly would not recommend going to alive because of how they treat dancers/parents/staff. I can't believe I use to work there.

My daughter is 8 years old, and she wanted to do dance for fun. The first class we tried most of the other students were way ahead and older than my daughter. Tried another class and it was the opposite. My daughter didn’t feel comfortable, and lost her passion for dance period. When we wanted to cancel the class we were 5 days too late from the cut of. I asked them when we started if it was month to month which they said yes to, but then they said it was a misunderstanding. I did the mistake of trusting them, and didn’t read the fine print carefully enough. Anyway the studio couldn’t be little nice and give us a break so now we have to pay for 6 months we’re not going to use (again they couldn’t provide a skill and age appropriate class for my daughter) AND for the recital dress and fees we never going to use. I’m sure this place is all diamonds and stars if you want to get in to competitive dance, but if you just want to have some fun they didn’t impress me. As a business owner myself I know the importance of customer service and sometimes you just need to give people a break in life. This place isn’t sharing my view on that. If it was a 0 stars rating I would give them that.

My daughter was a student at this studio for the past 8 years. Since beginning of the year, we experienced schedule changes without consulting with parents/availability of the students. Also, there is favoritism issue in their culture. Since I was not able to take my daughter to an Acro exam which was held in a morning of a week day. the instructor (aka Miss Kris) started taking it personal and put my daughter under stress. She literally ignored her in all her classes. When I raised my concern as a parent to studio owner(aka Miss Jen), I found her very arrogant, offensive and unprofessional. I was just shocked with her attitude towards a loyal customer. That interaction made it easy for me and of course my daughter to pull her out from this poisonous environment. I hope this helps others not to be fooled around.
