Ordered Huppe furniture, which I was assured was the highest quality by Karen at 4living. Upon delivery, the bed was faulty in two places and the media unit arrived unfinished. After less than two months, the sofa cushions lost their shape and the fabric looked like it had years of usage. The sofa pillows also began to fray. The dining chairs fell apart in approximately two months. 4living offered the following excuses: -the sofa is supposed to look like that after two months, as it’s the European look. -that I should trim the sofa cushions myself. -that Huppe was going to send me a touch up pen, and that I should have to touch up a just delivered piece of brand new furniture Huppe and 4living will take your money and run. Both either do nothing of value to help with a situation such as mine, will make excuses, or deny any wrong doing. Do not buy from 4living or Huppe product! Huppe is high priced garbage masquerading as high end furniture.
I purchased a bi-sectional from 4Living and the sales process was pressure free and very informative. Amber helped me select a Canadian made (Gus*) sectional and kept me apprised during its production. What the clincher for me was, I called in and mentioned that I was going to be hosting some friends - Amber did what she could get my couch to me before the past weekend. The logistics partner used, Busy Boy Moving, was scheduled and I got my couch in time! Great service and an excellent product. Highly recommended.
The furniture at 4Living is high end and beautiful. We purchased two sectionals at this store. We thought we were purchasing quality pieces that would last many years and we would be supporting a local business. I have given 2 stars for their design services and modern furniture showroom. I've dealt with Karen and her designing team several times over the years and they have been responsive, never shy away from communication. We have one sectional that has had some issues, a few months in the fabric was piling, 4Living helped reupholster (at a cost to us) and now we have a webbing issue on that same couch. I think its fair to say that this couch is a lemon! Two Upholstery companies (which were recommended by 4Living) confirmed the webbing needed to be replaced. 4Living offered to have the couch shipped back to Montreal to the Manufacturer (at a cost to us) and have the Manufacturer \have a look\ or we could purchase new foam cushions for over 1,000 and hope that would work. Luckily we decided to fix it on our own and had the webbing replaced by a local Upholstery company and we couldn't be happier! And their customer service was fabulous!
We recently purchased furniture (dining table and chairs, counter stools, sofa, decorative cushions, chair, rug, bed and nightstands) for our new home from 4living and had a fantastic experience. The staff was amazing and so helpful with choosing the right items and colors for our space. We appreciated their design consultation as they worked with our ideas and steered us in the right direction with fabrics and colors as we might have ended up with some mismatched items without their expertise. All the furniture arrived as ordered, looks great and is very comfortable! We love how everything came together and all the pieces complement each other. The 4living team brought our vision to life and we couldn’t be happier. We have received so many compliments on the pieces from friends and family. We highly recommend 4living to everyone and supporting a local business and Canadian made furniture is a plus!
