This bakery is a diamond in the rough. The design felt like an oasis and the atmosphere enhanced that same feeling. The pergola in the front had seating for, I believe, 4-5 small tables and was laced with hanging flowers to give off a welcoming environment while the interior of the store had seating for 3-4 small tables (again, don't quote me). As for the store front, all of the pastries were front and center - displayed to make you want to throw caution to the wind and buy up every little item. I settled on the brownies which were rich with a nice blend of cookie-crumble which forced me to go and purchase another one immediately after finishing the first, which at a price point of 40 I couldn't resist. Before finishing my brief review I wanted to make mention of the staffing. They were the nicest group of individuals that I've met this far at a bakery. They patiently waited on your order, helped answer questions that you had, and (while socializing amongst our group) offered us tall pitchers of water. This store is probably my favorite bakery that I've ever encountered in my journeys, and when it expand I hope it's able to stay true to these humble roots. Thank you Bertie's!
I was surprised to see a local artisan bakeshop here in Laguna!! I loved the quaint interior and mini garden! The staff were welcoming. The pandan cake and silvanas are my favorite! Sad to say, the salted coffee was not available during our visit. A must place to visit in Laguna for quick snacks and healthy pasalubongs!
Their meals and pastries are worth going to South to. I kept munching on malunggay biscotti on our fishing trip and it kept me alive for hours. They're sausage are so good. I always ask for take outs from anyone passing by here because they're really relaxing. My advice for anyone going to Pansol for an overnight stay is to eat here before heading to Pansol, and swing by for souvenirs on your way back to manila
Such a nice & beautiful place. Food is great and the prices are just right.
We enjoyed the food! Definitely, we'll be back for more.
The crew is very welcoming and I love the ambiance.
Their dining area is an alfresco (outside dining) I tried their Mocha frappes and browies. The frappe cost P150.00, its about a size of regular glass approximately 330ml and 1 pack of brownies the cost P50.00 (6 small pieces) I'll give them 3 stars for the frappe. Since it was priced at P150.00 I was expecting more of a Starbucks mocha frappe taste. For the brownies, 4 stars. It was good. I like the texture and consistency. The facilities are clean, their restroom is well maintained. They don't have a parking area though, but you can park your vehicle infront of the shop.
