Dfds is a cheap and easy way to travel to France by ferrie but it's a very boring boat with not much to do on it. If u pay extra you can go by p and o ferries! And it's got more things to do on the boat and more entertaining for kids aswell

Decent crossing.. Comfortable seats... Most things closed due to largely not fatal virus that has been over exaggerated and has crashed every economy (except the Chinese who started it all) Unfortunately the free meal voucher was just limited to an English cooked breakfast.. WHY? the boarding time was 11:05. This made the offer a waste of time.. Unless of course you like greasy, overcooked food and sugar saturated beans drowned in industrial sauce?

VIP Lounge is actually pretty decent. Comfortable seats and calm atmosphere, ideal for having a quiet hour. There is coffee, champagne, fruit, and pattiserie included. Coffee is drinkable, as is the champagne. Overall, it's worth the price!

Took this ferry with my family although is was only 1 pound more then P&O, while on board there wasn't as much to do as on the P&O Ferry and they didn't seem to have any customers, and the staff at the food area were a bit grumpy...the eggs tasted off although i didn't say anything because it was very early morning. On the bright side it gets you to your destination!!

DFDS WORST SERVICE EVER Normally I would agree with -10 stars Bad service ,smelling everywhere in the ferry and i m passing 3 times in a year Last time (24-07-20)I booked a flexible ticket but surprise when I checked in on Callais they told me it’s economy Honestly I was looking very carefully and going back in the buying procedure three times to make sure is flexible ticket At the end i had to pay another 97 for flexi so i paid a total of 229 It s gest ridiculos I tried to complain at their email address uk.customercare @dfds but is invalid email Worst service ever
