Went here after a drive around Calabogie with a friend. We had their nachos special and salmon burgers on the patio with great view of the lake. The food was great and our server was really friendly. A great place overall to eat if you're in the area.

Wednesday night is "date night" at Frisco's Restaurant. You get an appetizer, two salads, two meals and a bottle of wine for 59.99. Our waitress, Sandra was excellent (both friendly and efficient at her job). The meals were superb! For our appetizer we chose a selection of cold meats (four) which came with lightly toasted bread, a delicious sauce, olives, and sweet peppers from Peru which were a nice touch. The salads were generous in size and the dressing was amazing. The steak was done to perfection and the maple mustard sauce on the chicken was so good that you can't wait to have it again. Both the roasted potatoes and wild rice were excellent and so many tasty vegetables. All the portion sizes were generous so I left with lunch for tomorrow! The restaurant over looks Calabogie Lake and beautiful gardens so if your date is a dud, at least you have an excellent meal and a nice view!
Was here with the Traction E-Rag dirt bike camp, food and service was exceptional and since I live 6 hours away I will return if the opportunity arises. Thanks Frisco's for treating us so well.
About 1 week before October 12th this year I called and made a reservation for 6 pm yesterday the 12th. It was our 44 wedding anniversary and we wanted to have a nice supper at this restaurant. We arrived yesterday evening about 5 minutes early only to find the place locked up, lights out and completely closed. We never received a call to let us know this restaurant would be closed even though the advertisement says they are open. Anyone wanting to eat at the restaurant should confirm they are open for business before driving almost 1 hour to get there. We wont be back.
