This is not a 5 star restaurant. The view is great, the restaurant is clean and looks cozy, But the food was below any expectations. Pork was charred and the fish lacked taste. The bread with allioli as appetizer tasted as if it was from a tube/jar, not hand made or anything. Don't recommend this

The place is nice and staff are fairly friendly but the quality of the food was really low. We had paella and the seafood tasted like days old. Prawns were not cleaned at all and again really old, octopus was suspiciously soft... with no doubt it was everything frozen! The price didn't reflect the quality of the food, very expensive. I would not recommend.
Beautiful setting, lovely honest Mallorca food at its best. Booking required on busier days of the week. This restaurant is quite relaxed, not meaning that the service is slow but it's a comfortable place to enjoy a meal. Good selection of wines promoting Mallorcan produce, and a wide selection of meats and vegetables all expertly cooked to make the most of the excellent local produce. I had trampo and the grilled pork ribs, the former a 'salad' of finely chopped tomato, green pepper and onion in a dressing that was far more than the sum of its ingredients, and could probably be eaten with a spoon like soup. Refreshing, tasty and healthy and perfect on a hot evening. The ribs didn't sound that exciting but were grilled to perfection, thoroughly cooked yet moist and delicious. Unfortunately the bread and aioli beforehand had filled the space that dessert could have occupied, but the dessert menu featured plenty of home made options. Well worth a visit if you're in cala d'or! Oh the vegetarian paella was guaranteed vegan by the the helpful manageress and was throughly enjoyed by the vegan and a non vegan member of our party!
Really lovely location and a very nicely restaurant. Unfortunately, in what we were served, the food does not match. The best dish were the cod fritters. The prawns very poor indeed...frozen (?). My sons meal of battered hake, onion rings (very good) and fries (stale, limp and just warm) was all one colour. Why no lemon/salad or colour on the plate? My meal was barely warm and this to me is a huge no, no. It went back and reheated...but the kitchen did not replate and serve it with fresh fries. Why not? Also, this meant that me and my son then had to eat separately. When a meal is wrong and has to go back...take both meals back and replate. There are no sauces offered...no tartare or marie rose sauce for fish. There was not even lemon on the plate! Strangely, no apology was offered for this mess up, no offer of a glass of wine/dessert...nothing, nada. The meal came to 93 for two courses including a bottle of house wine (20!) As a comparison and to explain the 2* rating. On either side of this meal we ate lunch in two of Palmas Michelin starred restaurants for roughly the same price...110 - 125. But this great value was for five courses of stunning food, beautifully and artistically plated and with wine pairings.
The food was very disappointing. Fish was not fresh, covered in oil and extremely salty. The caramel cream desert was not even close to a simple caramel yoghurt you would get at the shop. Would not recommend at all
