Julian Merghart

I visited this studio a long time ago. It's a clean Russ Berger designed studio. Very advanced equipment and good clean atmosphere. Later I became an engineer myself and opened Julian's Heavy Metal Amp Room in West Tawakoni where we track mainly heavy metal drums and guitars and during the design phase I thought of the layout of this studio and it was always an influence in the back of my mind. Russ Berger was a master of his craft and if he designed it - it sounds good. Always one of my favorite places when I'm in DFW.

I hired Bruce Faulconer to record, edit, and master my multicast audiobook production. This was an extremely difficult challenge which Bruce handled with the upmost excellence. The final product was of such high quality that the production team was interviewed by Audible. Bruce's expertise, recording space, and equipment are unsurpassed in the Dallas area. He has over 30 years of experience, and has skills are augmented by the fact he holds a PhD in music and is a composer. There is a reason why NPR partners with this studio! I cannot recommend Cakemix Recording Studio highly enough for your next production.
