Restaurant Ca na Toneta

Food was good! Local ingredients and food. However ... How are you supposed to eat 5 courses with a knife and fork on a nightstand table with chairs higher than the table. It completely ruin the restaurant experience and actually our dinner. We drove 1 45m ( one way) to look at each other and be frustrated with my partner as we could not enjoy the food. We ended up with food on the floor, on my dress. Not what you would expect for fine dinning or for a bill that costed over 103 euros(without tip) in Majorca!!!!! We also asked if a normal table was available ( which we saw it was), but we were told that it was reserved. It got occupied when we were leaving 2h later. And one more small point. We had 5 courses and they haven’t changed our plates once. We had zucchini, pork, squid etc in the same plate.... We did not ordered dessert as stomach was hurting from bending over the table, but if we would have ordered it I wonder if they would have changed the plates! And cherry on the cake. At the end we suggested in a very nice matter that they should change that table, but the manager suggested it was our fault that we did not book properly... How would you know?

It's a great place. You can choose between a 6 or 9 plate manu. But I saw someone ordered just two plates. For me it would be fine as well, six plates where a bit to much for me. The fish unlucky was very dry, but all together the food was outstanding. I never ate so different flavors on a menu, very pure and strong. Service was very helpful and friendly. The ice cream was so special and delicious in once. I will come here again if I'm back on Mallorca.

Wonderful Mallorquin restaurant run by three sisters. Excellent local food, lovely local ecological wines and all furnished with great restrained design style
