Lovely museum, film history of Sardinia on display here with artifacts from all eras. Well laid out and well lit. English translations. Small shop with some books and souvenirs. Definitely worth a visit. Low entrance fee. 7 per adult. Visited July 2019

The best explanations and exhibits are on the ground floor, including very helpful chart to help understand the chronology. There is translation in English, which helps even if you have some Italian reading skills. There are areas upstairs dedicated to various archeological sites, but these are not as well defined and explained. Still good though. The Nuragic \giants\ are beautiful and evocative (but a bit randomly spread around the museum, and apparently some are moving to Cabras in the future) alongside the sculptures and figurines. And that's not including the Punic and Roman artifacts...

Great presentation of unique archaeological finds. The museum had also added a lot of content to make it more accessible to people with a range of different meds, there are tactile displays, videos with subtitles and sign language (not sure which sign language, whether Italian or British, though). Some of the material wasn't presented chronologically which got a bit confusing at times, but they have obviously worked hard to update a lot of the displays fairly recently and it was a great experience. I visited when covid 19 measures were taken and the staff was really vigilant about wearing masks and ensuring that spaces weren't too crowded, which I appreciated a lot. Entry fee is cash only, and there are no nearby ATMs so it's better to come prepared! They're limiting numbers for entry so you should book ahead of time to get your time slot scheduled.

Nice museum! A 3 storey building with interesting historical artefacts from Paleolithic to mordern history of Sardinia. If you go through (description) all the artefacts, then it will take like 60-90 mins. General ticket costs 7. unfortunately audio guide in english is not available, however the description of the artefacts is also in English.
