Getting to this marvelous building from the lower part of Cagliari, where your hotel is most likely to be, is not exactly easy. It's a steep climb, but you shouldn't leave the city without having made the effort. You will visit a building that incorporates Romanesque and Baroque styles and has a visually surprising mixture of artwork that might overwhelm sensitive eyes and souls, but its details will move even the most blasé of tourists.
If you are on a break or holiday in Cagliari I would highly recommend that you visit this Cathedral. You will be able to get a real feel for the culture.
This cathedral is small, but lovely. It is very well-decorated! The crypt is also very interesting.
