The staff gave us a warm welcome. The lodge has a spacious lobby and restaurant has a special ambiance for customer.
I think the price is too high for what you get. 980PHP for a double room, in which one bed didn't even have sheets or pillow cover, with a noisy air conditioning device and a waterpump nearby that keeps on start/stop during the whole night. Bathroom has no mirror or nets to stop mosquitoes coming inside, there are many. Access to rooms is muddy if it rains. I give two stars and not one because staff is nice and there is hot water in the shower.
I like the aircon room where I stayed, since it's clean, & the place is quiet & private. The only down side is that I can't totally close one of the windows in the room where I stayed in, which can be a security problem. The other "down side" (which I think is not really the case) is the lodge doesn't have a restaurant, which gives you actually an opportunity to discover the eateries & stores around the area of San Vicente. There's Frank's burger near this place, & you can walk closer to the port to go to a cheap eatery or a snack joint where you can buy fries, pizza, & ice cream. I would suggest that you try Kuya Edgar's eatery near San Vicente port, & you'll get a hefty serving of rice with other viands at a very cheap price

good enough for a short vacation, with a nice center area to hang around in besides the room... not many but there's good choices for dining around town..
