I discovered this beautiful little cafe around 2 years ago. I found the owners to be very friendly and joyful. The cafe is very stylish with a lot of artwork present all around. Everything is very clean and well laid out for easy viewing and it's been like this each and every time I've visited Toscana. They have a large range of food and drinks available, the food is very well presented and always very palatable, freshly made up to your specification. I am SO glad I discovered Toscana and will continue to frequent it. I highly recommend it. 5 Star.

This cafe used to be great (last there 10 months ago) but I made a fatal error visiting yesterday for a take out coffee. I forgot about 5.00 minimum card charge so topped up my order (reluctantly) with a cake which came from the window display not counter and was placed in a brown bag before I had even seen it. I tucked into it at my desk an hour later to savour the taste of mouldy blueberries!! I will never return to this establishment (regardless of how long the queue is for Love Walk Cafe or maybe I'll try the two new ones towards Camberwell Green). As if that wasn't bad enough the service was abrupt and dogmatic and absolutely nothing like the Italian philosophy of coffee, food or indeed life!

Great sized sandwiches and nice selection. Highly recommend for a sandwich compared to others in the area

The best homemade cakes in the area. If you get a taste of one, you never want to try any other. Seriously. Too bad the place is often overlooked.

As mentioned by a previous reviewer there is a Polish waitress who was extremely rude to me when I complained the milk in the coffee had been steamed for too long on a high temperature and so tasted burnt and also burnt my tongue. She did get me another but unfortunately the same thing happened. I also had some food which was nice and reasonably priced. I refused to pay for the coffee as I didn't like it and she said 'That isn't my fault if you didn't like the taste you still have to pay' then proceeded to insult me in Polish of which a little I understood. The older lady or Manager was happy to sort out the situation. In Consumer law if something isn't fit for purpose it can be returned! Hot burnt milk is not what i ordered nor can be consumed! I had visited earlier in the week and my coffee was good and so was the food and the older gentleman serving that day. However this situation today with the 'younger' waitress who decided to insult me in Polish has made me never wanting to return if in the area. 4 star for the food, 1 start for the service 1 star for the coffee - 3 star overall. Go for food if in the area, but just don't complain or order the coffee!!! Maybe some training in customer service may be needed as by reading the previous reviews I am not the first to complain about this waitress and her demeanour towards her customers.
