Would definitely recommend this little place, not just any ordinary gem but was a gold glittering diamond. Had a breakfast here that was very, very enjoyable, if you like black pudding, this is place to go... Not over cooked and not swimming in grease. Menu choice was excellent and very well priced... If I lived near here it would be my go to.... Thank you for lovely breakfast and service

Stopped here for dinner while in Hastings. The food, drinks, price, staff and cleanliness of the whole place was fantastic. I would recommend this place to anyone, try it and you will see what I mean
Went into the Cafe Royale today with my wife 07/12/20. Had a very nice meal of Homemade Steak and Kidney Pie. 2 things were negative - 1. Roast Potatoes were rock hard. 2. Cabbage was bland. Service was good.
Had the vegetarian breakfast. Plenty of food, and tasty. I'm not a fan of tinned tomatoes, but it was clearly stated on the menu that they are tinned, so I knew what to expect. Overall, Nice cafe food at reasonable price. Will be back.
