I go to the Café on the Beach every time I'm in Hythe. The coffee is excellent (I go for the flat white), the cakes are delicious (special mention for the pistachio & rose cake!), and the staff are lovely.

A great little cafe right on the beach. Obviously the range is a bit limited at the moment but between us we managed to sample the smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel, and the sourdough bacon baguette. Both delicious and noticeably better quality than a lot of places. Great prices too. There's a lot of guff spoken about coffee so I will keep it simple. Perfectly made. I look forward to when it can reopen properly I will definitely be back.
Easily one of the best coffee shops in Hythe! Best flat white & mocha I've had in a long time. Avocado on toast was also made to perfection. Cosy cute little cafe with stunning sea views. Seating is available inside & outside. Welcoming, friendly & helpful staff. Reasonably priced. Dogs friendly.
