Cute place, nice food, reasonable prices.
Good selection of eats and drinks on sale. Picnic tables nicely spaced apart. Lots of birds and wildlife to see if you are observant.
It's a nice walk from Tonbridge through the park and past the first lake. Ducks and geese abound and children can buy correct feed at the café and feed the ducks. Only 50p a bag. Toilets are just to the rear of the café itself and a large car park is behind that (1). Perfect dog walking area. Cycle track 12 to Penshurst passes through too.
Quite a long queue but it was at lunchtime on a Sunday, well worth the wait though. Absolutely amazing sausages and bacon, in a very nice and soft baguette, perfectly toasted. The hot chocolate was also incredible! Definitely coming back! Update: We came back on a Thursday, it was lunch time but it still was a massive queue. Took around 30 mins to get food.
