Good quality food and fair pricing
Cafe Goa is without doubt the best Indian restaurant in the area. Recently renovated, the restaurant is stylish, contemporary and convivial. The food is consistently excellent and tonight's biryani was the best I've had since a trip to India last year. The service was impeccable; the waiters are friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.
I visited this restaurant on Saturday, I’ve been here a few times before and every time I have visited I have not been disappointed. Firstly, their customer service was on point! Even though they were very busy they were honest with their waiting time and always came to check up on us to see if we were ok. The food arrived and all I have to say is that it was worth the wait. The food was delicious as always! Full of flavour ! Best Indian restaurant I have been too! The staff were so polite and helpful! The restaurant was clean, and social distancing was in place. Also ordered a take away today as I was craving some good old curry! And once again I was not disappointed, Can’t wait to order again, thank you!
I am extremely unhappy and cross about the poor service received tonight from Cafe Goa. My order was over an hour late, I rang the restaurant 40 minutes after the agreed delivery time to be told my order would be leaving in less than 5 minutes. Half an hour later still nothing, when I rang back no one would take my call. The delivery driver was very apologetic but no communication from the restaurant, no compensation and to make matters even worse one of the sauces had spilt all over the bag. This is completely unacceptable, I completely understand restaurants get busy but please be honest about waiting times and don't take more orders the you can deliver on. This completely ruined a family evening together. Two stars are for quality of the food but does not make up for the appalling service.
