Cadbury Garden Centre

The Blue Diamond - Cadbury Garden Centre in Congresbury, Bristol is a definite recommended visit and is a hidden jem; it's ideal for gardeners, business owners, visitors, elderly, families, children - more or less everyone to visit. The Cadbury Garden Centre isn't just a garden centre; it can be described only as one massive warehouse of several different areas of expertise and of several different items ranging anywhere from plants, flowers, pottery, stoneworks, metalworks, fountains, sheds, equipment, tools, live animals such as snakes, spiders, exotic birds, tortoises, rabbits etc. to coloured pasta, sweets, alcohol, garden furniture, christmas decorations and it even has it's own restaurant, butchery and gin area. It's an endless store which offers an endless experience, the parking is plentiful and the staff members were friendly - it's definitely recommended to visit here.

I love it. Large selection of products and units. A bit pricey but it is what it is. More than just a garden centre. Pet section was lovely, gave our pup some treats and lots of love. Staff are lovely, some customers not so much.

Can't until all the Christmas decorations are out. It's looking good so far. Had some food was great as usual. Restaurant manager was excellent dealing with a group of 5 people & 2 dogs who were complaining there was no table available for them. Plenty of space and felt safe. Just one comment which applies to many stores. My needs to use a wheelchair. We find it very difficult to balance a basket on the handles of the chair and it can become heavy if mum has it on her lap. I use a carrier bag making a huge show when I put anything in it. I do get a few funny looks and the checkout colleague looked a bit strange. So if you could have some kind of floppy bag it would be very helpful. However does distract from a very enjoyable time.

I bought two holly plants. \Rachel\ in the garden centre was really helpful. She checked on her computer that I had male & female plants and, as they were a half price offer, came with me to the check out to make sure I paid the right price. Excellent service. Many thanks.
