Quiet and Relaxing There us a full menu, but come before 7pm for happy hour food and drinks. Local Flying Dog beer on tap, as well as Modelo and others. I enjoyed the crab quesidilla. Chips and dip complementary. Sit at the bar, or tables. A couple of fireplaces. Clean restrooms. Courteous service.

We have now been to Cacique three times over the past few months. It is always consistently good. The servers are attentive checking on the food and keeping the water/ice tea glasses full. We enjoy the beef fajitas for 2. The steak has great flavor and there is plenty of steak for the two of us. The flan is one of best around. It is very creamy with plenty of caramel sauce. Highly recommend
My wife and I just moved to the Frederick area and wanted to try some local restaurants, so we decided to visit El Cacique Restaurant. Alexa our server was very courteous, the food was delicious and fresh. my wife loved it so much that she ordered the same dish to go. This food is the real deal. I highly recommend this place. We'll be seeing you again..
The food was really really good. It's always difficult to find a good authentic Mexican restaurant, this is it! The people were exceptionally nice. I over heard a lady complain about her margarita after drinking some of it and she requested a different drink then I over heard her state they needed to take the margarita off they receipt, the staff did as the customer asked and they did it politely. I spoke to the owner and he was informative and sweet.
I accompanied my sister for dinner, but strictly ordered from the dessert menu. My daughter and I shared the sopapillas and fried ice cream. Both dishes were delicious and some of the best I have ever had from a Spanish restaurant. My sister ordered the shrimp fajitas and although I didn't try any she swore that they were to die for! Great service and the food came out quickly. I definitely recommend checking this place out!!!
