On a sunny day expect to wait for min half an hour for your turn. They wrote the time when specifically your turn will be to go to the cable car so if you have marked 13:00 on your ticket and you are there at 12:40 and the cable car has just arrived - you won't get on it as there are limited amount of people in one. Scenes are beautiful but all the same. Look for the bear in the tree :)

Views are great, but have to agree with others that the ticket system should be improved. We got to ride almost immediately (15min wait due to the cablecar being on the other side and lack of people because of a rainy day), but we were told we can get back at 18:07, but there were a lot of people and the cablecar got full, so we had to wait 20min until they came back. Well, at least we got back, but I would have preferred to spend that time on walking around, not on waiting. And I suggest to go from Sigulda to Krimulda for at least an hour or two - there’s plenty to see there. I wish we could’ve walked around more than 20-30min. Or coming back by walking - the way back is not very long.
Ticket system really sucks. First you have to wait one hour to get ride and then you can't get back immideatly even you have bought tickets for the return also.
Nice views over the river and the valley. A good alternative to walking if you are heading to Turaida Castle

Ziemassvētku laikā skaisti izrotāts vagoniņš ar dāvanām un rotājumiem pie griestiem, lieliska pieredze, brīnišķīgs skats! ️ Apkalpošana ļoti patīkama, viegli sarunāt par laikiem, kad doties turp un atpakaļ, ļoti atsaucīgi. P.s. Tiem, kam bailes no augstuma (man ir) - vagoniņā atrasties ir ļoti droši un ērti. Ātrums nav liels līdz ar to arī nepaspēj iestāties panika. Atrodoties pie loga rūtīm, ir kur pieturēties. Redzēt Siguldu no šāda leņķa - tas ir tā vērts! :)
