One of the best most intimate sugar shack Quebec.... delicious dishes....fast and attentive service.... remember most sugar shacks have little in vegetarian choices including this one....but go and have fun otherwise...
We held our wedding reception in this beautiful cabane a sucre in May 2019 and I would not have changed a thing! DiAnne and her team were always willing to listen and to fulfill all our requests. The food was exceptional, even better than we expected. Our guests has so many good things to say about the food, the decorations, the ambiance. I recommend anyone looking for a place to hold their wedding to check them out!
Great place to eat and dance and right along the highway. I felt for the animals though as I think it is too crowded and small for them. Need to fundraise and build a bigger barn for the winter. The animal situation is why I put it down to 4. Other than that 5/5
Nice sugar shack on the south shore of Montreal. Food is traditional, service is good, and the price is right. What I like most about it is that it's not very crowded with groups and buses, so you won't be force fed through your meal and moved out of the table to make room for the next batch of people. This makes it great because you can actually enjoy the food and ask for seconds, which they'll happily provide you. Only downside is that being a small shack, they have less personnel, so you may have to wait a bit for a server to get to you. This happened to us last time (we're kind of regulars, go there every year), but this is a minir issue compared to being rushed at other sugar shacks.
