Good fish and seafood options with a slight upper scale touch on preparation and presentation. There are also meat and salad options although you should come here for the fush/seafood options. Prices are on the high end for the area. Staff is very friendly although it happened they forgot parts of our order (just kindly remind them and they will quickly correct it). Credit cards accepted. You MUST book in advance as the place is always busy - drop by and book for a day or two later. Positive experience - a nice place to come once in a while if you are not on a budget.

From all of the special restaurants I've visited in my life, including Michelin Stars awarded ones, this is probably my favourite. In fact, it's not even fair calling Noélia & Jerónimo a restaurant, as it is so much more than that: this is where Noélia will be serving you the sea, in her unique, so passionate dishes. The food is decent. The lemon rice is indeed very tasty and I highly recommend it. The interior is tasteful. Although we had no reservation, we managed to get a table because we were there at opening time, the place filled very rapidly after that and remained very busy during our time there. The service however is simply not good enough for a place like this. For Portuguese standards, it is expensive (125 for 3 people), service was inattentive and distracted, waiting times for food were too long, and the dishes of different people arrived too far apart to enjoy warm food all together. There were enough waiters and they responded to our calls quick enough, but took too long to deliver what we asked for. TLDR: Decent food, but service should be improved. If you want to visit, I strongly advise to reserve (and the phone was ignored continuously, so good luck with that!).
A friend recommended the restaurant, as the chef has a very good reputation. My companion was really excited to try the food and we also wanted to get some take out for the rest of the family. Due to my allergies and dietary restrictions, I asked for plain rice and grilled or sautéed vegetables without mushrooms and tomato. The chef said it is not possible to make it without tomatoes, so now i am asking myself if they even use fresh vegetables and how a chef of this reputation is not able to follow such a simple request...
Outstanding meal and definitely worth the difficulties of booking (we called over 30 times with no answer / sent FB and insta messages but nothing, so ended up going down there to then book for another day). The tuna was amazing as was the sole with rice and clams- the house white wine was delicious and the desserts were beautiful. Could not recommend this place more- just wish it was a bit easier to book a table ;)
I’d give 6 stars if possible! Outstanding food and service. It was a struggle to book (we had to phone multiple times) however it was worth the effort.
It's a nicely located place very close to the coast where the most recommended dishes are the sea food ones. Despite all the good reviews and also the awards they have, I didn't find the restaurant that amazing. For me it was only an average-good meal. I was a little disappointed when some of the fish in the rice was raw. We told the waiter and I wasn't happy with their solution: She told us to put the food back in the pot so they could cook a bit more. She should have done that after apologizing, which she didn't. When I see a restaurant with an award I expect a quality service and this time I couldn't see that.
