Cabana Mexican Bar and Kitchen

Recently replaced Chiquitos and does not disappoint. Good selection of food available on the menu. The staff were all very friendly and our meals were delicious! Very impressed with the Nachos in particular.

Staff were friendly and welcoming. The environment felt and looked clean, so that's the good parts said. However just the food was not the best for the money paid. The food in my opinion did taste frozen or out of a packet and for the money, most people are happy to spend that little bit more if the food was better quality as this is not a take away restaurant so their is a higher expectation. I don't feel like this has been the best experience on this occasion. Hopefully some improvements can be made to help improve this in the near future.

Cracking Mexican ! So pleased this place replaced the chain restaurant that was here before. Give it a try. As a Brit married to a Texan we give them good marks for their Margaritas also.

I am only giving 2 stars because of the interior. We walked into the restaurant but nobody noticed us so we sat down as there was plenty of space. We were waiting a long time for someone to give us menu. They didn’t even acknowledge us. When my partner went to them to get the menus there were already more people. By the time we ordered our food, people who came after us already got served. We ordered some drinks, starters and mains. Starters arrived quite soon. But after that we were waiting and waiting. Everyone else was getting their orders. So we decided to ask them how much longer and if they started making it otherwise we would have left. When we received our mains it was another disappointment. They forgot about garlic butter for the steak. My chicken was cold inside and not nice at all. I gave it back to them and shared the steak with my partner. I wouldn’t recommend it to anybody.

Very delicious food. 1. Portion sizes - HUGE! 2. Very flavourful without any sauces. 3. You can ask for extra sour cream/ guac no problem. Just a few negative points. 1. Chose the spiciest sauce for fajitas but couldn't taste it. 2. Inexperienced waiter - we had to ask for napkins and cutlery. 3. The chips were cold and for 3 in a tiny basket is very steep. 4. There were only 3 tables of customers and trying to pay was a long wait although it was dead. Will be back again though. Cheers!
