This restaurant was on our “to visit” list for a long while. Yesterday we finally had a dinner here. And we were disappointed. First of all, we did not like the atmosphere there. There was no background music, as a result you could only hear people talking, and at some point that made me feel like I am in a canteen. Classical and/or instrumental music on the background would make a huge difference. Secondly, the starters are overpriced for the quality. There is completely nothing special about the burrata or tuna tartare that we had. Plain flavours, basic presentation. Third, we did not like how the staff coordinated everything. The staff is super friendly and nice, but they work in a chaotic way. They run by your table, do something, run away, next time a new waiter runs and does something. They even managed to take away my not yet finished Bellini that I was just drinking slowly. Then they also tried to take away not yet finished burrata with tomatoes, but we stopped them. Moreover, my fiancée got food poisoned and could not sleep the night after. We did not eat anything what could cause that during the day, so we strongly feel that it is something we ate at the restaurant. She feels that it is olives and burrata. Lastly, what really disappointed me... I called the restaurant twice before coming saying that it is my fiancée’s birthday and asking if they could arrange a candle for the cake and/or write it on the plate. Basically, do a good thing the way good restaurants do. They said “of course, we always do it for birthdays, we will make a note here”. However, as you already understood, none of that happened. They brought a piece of cake without anything saying “happy birthday”. I think it really well summarises this place. 2 stars instead of 1 because the pasta was good and Bellini was wonderful.

The service is very great. The moment you walked into the restaurant until you finished eating they proved the best dining experience for you. As for the food like pasta, cheesecake and drinks are overpriced. I’m sure there are others better homemade pasta places with a fairer price in London. Don’t come here for their pasta.
5 stars because we had an amazing evening. One of the best tuna tartars we've ever had. Lovely sea bass and fantastic desserts!
We booked for a meal on a saturday evening and parking was available after 6pm for free directly opposite. C London restaurant or Cipriani has a 4 star rating from the food standards agency ( given in the 22nd jan 2020) The locations and feel of the place is high end. They have taken out maybe 50% of the tables , so your relatively well distanced from other tables, it also doesnt have much or any background music that I could tell, allowing you to easily have a conversation. The service was attentive and not pushy, our food came quickly and hot. The portions come on serving plates and the waiter then puts some on your plate, whixh is great for sharing. We ended up super full with starter main and dessert, for each of us! we could easily have shared a starter or main instead! Lovely service and decent choice of italian food. Cocktails good too, though the wine is served in small glasses.
I heard alot of good things about this place, the service was lovely. Staff was amazing but the food wasn't what I expected it to be. I hoped they have more seafood or vegetarian options. Their salad was nice.
