If you happen to pass by and have, like me, an appetite for Asian food, Phood is definitely a place to try out. Some nice South East Asian recipes slightly tweaked to suit both western and oriental palates and a very smiling and welcoming staff, I can only recommend it!
The staff are really friendly,helpful and professional. You order and pay at the counter, they give you a number and within minutes they bring your food to the table. You help yourself to cutlery,glasses and water. If you would like to try something different take the bubble tea - I highly recommend the black tea,taroc & tapioca. When you drink it through the straw the tapioca shoots up into your mouth and the taste is really soft and melty! The Mi Xao Poulet (les pates sautees) is yummy...its with noodles, chicken and vegetables. If you like a sweet sauce try the Ga Kho (poulet caramel) which is chicken with a caramel flavoured sauce and rice - it is delicious. You can get a normal or big size - for me the normal is more than enough! If you like coconut try the organic coconut...you drink the juice and then they open it for you so you an eat the coconut. A super place for a healthy and well balanced and tasty meal
