The \Butts Tavern \ is a proper 'old-school' pub. No pretentiousness, just a proper pub. We loved it YES we met old friend's but also made some more. The beer was excellent and served fresh and very pleasantly by the bar manager. ( by fresh. I am making a reference to the clealnliness of the pipes ). My second very enjoyable visit I will certainly be making some more.

Nice place, nice people, renewed during lockdown
For such a big pub there is a lack of seating. When there is a top football match on it's not the best place to be if you haven't got a seat. Staff alow customers to sit at the bar drinking making it difficult to get served. Good selection of drinks and snacks. Staff are very welcoming and polite.
Good friendly staff. Sky tv for sport. Good selection of beer and cash or card payment. Sizable bar and welcoming customers
Good, honest traditional pub. Great selection of ales and whiskeys. Incredible pork pies.
