We booked a private room for our wedding reception and it was perfect. Everything and everyone was brilliant. The food was great, every guest commented on how good it was. They set up the room perfectly. Highly recommend for both a normal meal or as a wedding reception venue!

We had the Valentine’s Day menu for 55 a couple. The meal was nice but we were honestly underwhelmed. The sticky prawns were in a watery sauce that had no flavour to it, I guess I expected them to actually be sticky. Our mains were nice but nothing special, could have made better at home. The Main was accompanied with a garlic bread which was horrible, just a stodgy bread that tasted bland. I mostly stricken that the dessert I ordered was described as ‘hazelnut tart with chocolate covered strawberrieS’ (plural) was actually a quarter a strawberry on top. I think this had the potential to be as good as the platters that they do (as the week before we had the Greek platter and it was amazing) but it was just not worth the money we paid for the meal, as it could have been made more special by actually having those strawberries and a bottle of bubbly eg. Not sure if we will be ordering from here again, as the food was also cold even though we were early to pick up.
Great food in a lovely welcoming pub. First time eating there and highly recommend it.
Great restaurant, not too easy to find though if you don't have sat nav! Was there today for Sunday lunch. Food was excellent, piping hot and lots of choice for the starters and desserts. Efficient and lovely staff, nothing too much trouble for them. A lovely experience and one we will enjoy again soon.
Absolutely fantastic steak. Perfectly seasoned and cooked. The beef dripping sauce was pretty special too. The parking is difficult and the wine list is a bit limited but any little issue really doesn't matter when you take your first bite. Fantastic value too. Loved every bite and can't wait to get a chance to go back.
