Part of the Queen Elizabeth Country Park, Butser Hill is well worth a visit in its own right. One of the highest points in Hampshire it has commanding unbroken views of the surrounding countryside. There are several events held here from butserfest, country fairs, fell runs and egg rolling at Easter. Hang-gliding can also be seen from the hill. You are also able to walk around the perimeter of the tall radio mast that is on the summit. The hill is quite steep but not too difficult and well worth the walk up it. For those who are unable to do that there is a car park at the summit. For those who want to walk up then park at the main car park at the signed route to the Queen Elizabeth Country Park off the A3.

Fab views, nice walk, well managed park. Some litter thrown away by thoughtless individuals so a few more litter bins would help.
