Sandwiches are being served from a hatch around the back. We've have numerous times been to the Larder in Wanstead and I believe this is run by the same people. We sat outside and enjoyed a sandwich and crisps before a walk to Connaught Waters. A beautiful area for a nice walk around the lake. Lots of trees and bushes for the kids to climb. Quite popular with cyclists. We'll definitely be back. Ample parking opposite, I couldn't really ask for much more..

Right on the edge of Epping Forest perfect for a cup of tea after a walk.Unfortunately not fully open due to covid but a nicee place to eat when it opens properly..
Great setting especially in sunny weather right in the middle of the park. Food is healthy hearty and very good
