Spot on veggie breakfast and cuppa, even had some vegan options alongside the more traditional bacon,etc sandwiches, jackets etc. All fresh and well cooked. Interesting decor, clean loo. Would highly recommend

Well, the larger than life shark outside should of give them gam away! Inside this this little building is a collection of curios and a proper “old skool” cafe / diner. Clearly a bit of a motoring theme, and clearly a classic diner left over from the days when the A1 was the road in England. The staff friendly and polite. Good choice of freshly prepared food, teas and coffees. And a feast for the eyes. Most things for sale. Coffee was good, and proper toast. Rest rooms spotless. Honestly. It’s almost worth a trip!
Food is always nice. Reasonably priced and quick service. Places to park a HGV during the day and the night.

What a lovely place just off the A1. A friendly face always greets us. The food is lovely. I highly recommend the cheeseburger, I'll be visiting any time I'm in the area.
