The croissants are more or less like in Paris. BUT very disappointing that a bakery that pretends to be French doesn't even sell proper French baguettes. The ones in Paris that are so crisp on the outside and fresh in the middle, and go stale in just one day. Perhaps the owners could learn the recipe so this could be an authentic French bakery?? Now they are selling olie ballen. No queue, just one customer. Probably because they charge 1.25 for one very small olie ball, compared to the olie-ballen caravan across the plein which has about 50 customers queued up and sell theirs for 80c each. Maybe also not popular because there is no regard for hygiene even in this Corona time. The girls just grab the balls with their bare hands, then proceed to handle money and anything else. The same unhygienic shop as before Corona.
Small and cozy place with some nice scenery in centre of Bussum. Staff is very friendly and eager for some fun chit chat. Check out the brownies!
