I had the misfortune of being seen by the lead dental consultant at this practice roughly 3 years ago. I was 23-24 years old. Due to an inflammatory condition and bouts of depression ( not keeping good dental hygiene) my dental health was in a poor state. I was extremely anxious about my visit and depressed over the state of my teeth. I tried to explain these things to the dentist aswell as his dental nurse/assistant after theyd asked. They ignored my explanation and proceeded to label me as bulimic, they conversed between themselves whilst I sat their. I was extremely offended at their ignorant opinion and lack of patient centred care - I am a qualified NHS professional with 2 degrees in nutrition subjects involving knowledge and practice in mental health and eating disorders for which this dentist and his assistant do not have. I am disgusted with how I was treated and would never consider going back to them or working for them in any capacity. The dentist is money hungry as proven when he recommended ALL MY TEETH were to be removed- I sought a second opinion from a well respected dental specialist who was shocked at this mans opinion. 3 years later, no teeth removed, thank God I didnt listen to this dentist

Based on my experience as a Orthodontics Referral- Warning for other parents. My son was referred here by our NHS dentist when he was 13 years old, he is still waiting for an appointment at the age of 17 years old now left school and going out to work! I have regularly phoned to see where he is on the waiting list, each time I'm told that he is right at the top and will hear soon. I used to be a Dental Nurse for over 10 years & understand that there is a long wait, but some honesty would be good. If I was told earlier that it would be years before he hears anything I would have gone elsewhere which is what I did recently for my daughter, referred to Smile in Norwich and seen 6 months later for an assessment of priority and an appointment a year later to get started on treatment . Much more professional and acceptable. Maybe Guildhall should make assessment appointments to prioritise their patients & when contacted for updates give an honest answer instead of should hear in the next few months! It never happens!

Wonderful and polite staff, modern and clean facilities. I was made to feel special and the dental care I received was excellent. The bridges that Dr P Carr did for me had given me my confidence back. I can't recommend them enough.
