Another place hit by covid. Can imagine when everything was open it would be a hub in the area. Looking forward to visit again when all is safe.

Great place!!No wonder why wouldn't be the Britain's best markets!!I love the meat hall and the fresh meat at cheaper deals. Its a proper place to go if you are looking for some quality fresh meat and seafood. There are all soughts of shops here. N the famous Black Pudding is a must try when you visit Bury Market. You could do a whole day of shopping and would still have shops to checkout..That big is this market..Could be a proper day outing for shopping.
Good old traditional market
This place when open is full or everything. Even items you think you will not need. People are friendly and nice to get along with. If you pass through the market stalls after hours expect to find groups of teenagers smoking/ congregating in the market stalls. Also watch out for people on mobility scooters. They tend to either block your path whilst talking to their friends whom are also on mobility scooters. No Sheila, i do not want to know about what newspaper to pick up.
Still one of the best markets in the country. The range of fresh produce is superb and of course great prices. There are also a myriad of stalls stocking just about everything you could possibly need
