I was at Cygnet for 9 months, I was on buttercup and wizard house, I met some amazing staff members that helped me through so much and I couldn't thank them enough. Staff were always up for jokes and games and were very down to earth and could be very serious and helpful at the same time including the doctors. I experience some good and bad times on my journey but they helped me through it all. I strongly recommend this place if your in a place of need

The staff at wizard house are amazing. Daughter has been there a week and I couldn’t be happier with their care. They all treat my daughter with respect and nothing is too much trouble for them. They have all their belongings and can use their phone as long as they don’t use the camera. The kids have access to a kitchen and there is a nightly film in the cinema room. On Friday and Saturdays the kids have take out and I have seen staff taking the patients out shopping etc, they will even go to the shop for them if they ask. Communication is outstanding and I get a daily phone call with an update on my daughters day. I am so pleased we got a bed here and can’t recommend it enough.
Wizard house in summer 2020, was an experience to say the least, but the permanent and most Bank staff were so lovely and the OT /activity people were fun as well, it's big shortfall was probably understaffing so they didn't have enough time for everyone and some agency staff could be very off with people.
was on Wizard for 3 months, discharged me without help. checks were delayed. was on 15 minute checks and they would check every few hours. some staff members were rude (not all). one even said “you don’t have mental health issues you’re just an angry kid” because i wouldn’t hand my phone in. OT was good, kept us occupied .
