Visited this butchers a couple of weeks ago, and bought 2 of their homemade 8oz burgers and some sausages. Both were superb. Sausages perfectly seasoned with a high meat content. Will be going back for more.

I bought 4 aged rib eye steaks from here last weekend (31), and the flavour of the meat was delicious, but there was a large amount of gristle and fatty bits which couldn't be eaten, for 4 steaks we thought this was too much. I went and gave my comments and showed the photo to the butcher who would not accept that their steaks contained this much gristle, barely even got an apology. I would not buy from them again, which is a shame because the meat was very tender.

Burtons is a terrific butchers and their meat is first class. Staff are extremely pleasant and nothing is too much trouble. I recommend them highly.

Have purchased 4 hampers off them throughout the first lockdown (2 at a time) to keep us going, spending i believe 85 for 2. All of which lasted us well over a month, only having to buy in from shops for sandwich meats ect. The chicken breasts were huge and the steaks were incredible! Cannot fault any of the food. Happy to order again when possible.

Great quality and really lovely people. Wether it’s a beautiful freshly cut steak or some award winning sausages All fab! I buy all of my chicken here as well because it’s better value than the supermarket meat. No watery rubbish when cooking, and everything I have ever bought freezes really well and tastes great. Please try the fresh bacon :) it’s supreme THANK YOU ALL FOR MY LOVELY MEAT
