Appointment system is a joke it does not work for the average working person to have to ring at 8am and spend at you least an hour trying to get through, it must awful for an elderly person who has to ring up over 100 times to try and get an appointment. You can pre book but that will be in about 6 weeks. Reception staff come across rude and put out that you want them to book you an appointment. When you do get to see a doctor some are amazing but some have no compassion and just want to get you out. Awful place

Caring and helpful. Reception staff will help you if it's urgent they think out of the box and try and get you in to see a doctor. We have recently moved to this practice. The days of phoning and getting appointments are gone. I do feel that people giving bad reviews for this are wrong as out of surgeries control. This is a good practice that deserves credit

I had called the docters and they have me an appointment for the same afternoon the surgery have on my details that I suffer from anxiety and it persificly says no male docters due to my past I go to the docters and they have me in in a few moments of sitting down I go in to my room and it's a male docter Bering in mind my friend went to the docters the same morning for the same thing the same morning the docters lifts my top and listened to my breathing at this point flash backs happend he gave me anti biotics and I left this was not the problem bye law make docters can not lift my top without a woman in there my friends docters never lifted hers up and managed to do it over the top this was my concern

After 197 calls to get through, the receptionist told me I was going to have to talk to wetmore road pharmacy, then to be told by the pharmacy to contact the surgery as they could not help.. I'm still trying to get through to the surgery.. nightmare .

So far nothing but excellent service. Recently returned to Burton after living away for decades. Managed to get into the surgery easily enough, staff have always been friendly and helpful. Needed an appointment last week and got seen the same day, and was in and out before my appointment time. Happy with the service. Going to try and register to book appointments online as phoning is always busy, but that's the same at any surgery
