It was a busy holiday Saturday in Torquay and we needed a coffee and a bite to eat. We usually go to Lulus but decided to try a new venue instead. Meticulous preparation for Civid restrictions took place before we were allowed to sit down. And we had the best seat in the house! However, if they really wanted to practice social distancing though they would order from the table rather than make every customer walk to the very back of the restaurant and order at the counter. They forgot our order but were terribly apologetic and gave us another flat white and latte. The toasted tea cakes were not \giant\ as stated and they only did strawberry jam, which was a disappointment....why can't places do raspberry or blackcurrant!! Been back again and we had toasties with ham and cheese and chutney...they were great. Staff are good, the place is spotless as are the toilets. Not fast service but you do get quality ...

Burridge’s is a wonderful place to stop off at! It is located next to a pier so the view is great and so is the experience. The food is delicious and not too pricey. Overall I would definitely recommend it! :)

Had a really nice cream tea. The scones were superb. Nicely fruited, fresh and warm. Husband had a giant tea cake which he said was really tasty.

We popped in here for a light lunch and decided to have the soup as it was a cold and wet Sunday. Astonishingly I was surprised it was tomato, red lentil and coconut, it was really lovely. Nice place to visit.

Called in on the last day of our holiday to treat my wife to a cream tea. Wish we had tried it at the beginning of our holiday as we would have gone several times. Quite simply the best cream tea my wife has ever had and she's tried a few. Beautiful warm scones that melt in the mouth. This will be our first port of call when we visit Torquay again.
