Nice place for an evening walk. Lots of green spaces to kick a football with kids or speed on a scooter or a bike. Tasty fish and chips just next to Barclay's bank. Free and spacious car park with a view!

Visited on my boat. We were allocated a berth that was full so we took an empty berth in order to sort things out. The Harbour master was extremely helpful. There was water and electric available. We were made most welcome by the staff including the restaurant and chandelry. Everyone we met was extremely nice and we will visit again. The only down side was the number of mosquitos on the paths around the harbour at dusk. i realise this is seasonal and not part of the harbour its self.
Wonderfully peaceful on the water. Everyone waves and says Good Morning. Strong tides.
I've visited Burnham Yacht Harbour a few times in general it's a decent marina with friendly staff. However, it's has a few sharp edges. Pros: - Staff are amazing - Area is beautiful. - On site shop generally well stocked, local town is a short walk Cons: - Very limited recycling, not been to a marina worse for it in the UK that I can remember. Manager claims general recycling is sorted, I checked with the company that pick it up, it isn't. This is pretty unusual as most boaters are pretty environmentally conscious. - No pump out - If you want anyone to work on your boat that isn't the marina, expect to pay a % surcharge that scares off most local help. Marina could help you but as with most that follow this philosophy they'll likely take their time by which point you'll be off into the glorious sunset
