Burnham Breck Popup Camping (August only)

Wonderful. View to gaze at. This year it is limited to camper van with own facilities. No tents. There is water and some washing up areas (no hot water) and toilet emptying. No toilets no showers.

Edit: back again, quite busy I think the word got around still loads of space and that view cannot be beaten anywhere on the North Coast; Ignore negative reviews of people not realising it's a church charity run by volunteers trying providing suitable facilities and support the church and other charities. Very cheap, we almost had our first champing experience in the wind this year but we felt blessed enough. Super friendly staff, the old chap ensures your happiness. If it only it were open more than a month a year. Quick meander down to Burnham Market for supplies and a pale ale and cake. Church is amazing to cool down and mediate/pray.

What a gem of a place! We stayed when the weather was less than kind. Extremely windy, so definitely wild camping! If you are looking for a quiet site, with basic but good facilities this is the place for you! An absolutely stunning location, we will definitely be back. I am concerned about over selling it as I don't want too many people to turn up next year!

Our second year which tells you we love it. Gorgeous views, and pretty good amenities. Would be 5 stars if the freezer in the church was changed to a big fridge freezer selfish I know, but it's tough trying to keep breakfast meats fresh in a cool box. And more importantly BEER
