Lovely clean hall, large kitchen. Easy access, lots of parking. Great venue for a birthday party. Pop Up Play Village Basingstoke and Reading recommend this Hall for having a role play party.

A good village hall with everything you need. A good area that appears in and L-shape thats wraps around a good size kitchen. I had it for a childrens birthday party and it was perfect. A small outside area for adults to stand away from the children when required with two serving hatches and lots of worktop space. The fridge is a bit small for a partys worth of food that needs keeping cold so take cold bags if it's warm. It will get warm in the hall. Things to consider when arranging the booking with these guys - Although the making contact was far easier than the other halls I looked at some elements of communucation became difficult once the booking was made... In other words no answer to messages nearer the time of the party Parking. On the face of it lots of parking, however on the day most was being used for something else. This was not volunteered, yet quite key for possibly 20 to 25 cars! Ask about what else is going on or let people come to yours be let out of there spaces. Over all almost as expected so 4 stars.
As a regular hirer of the this hall, I can honestly say it’s one of the best village halls I’ve had the pleasure to use. Brilliant space, kitchen, dance floor, extra rooms and comfortable chairs plus the fact that it is alway spotlessly clean and has great heating and air con means this hall is always ready to party whatever the weather!
Hired the hall for a party. Would recommend for parties and functions.
