We went on the Festive Express this morning and we loved it. The Father Christmas was very chatty and enthusiastic and all of the other members of staff were brilliant. My little girl enjoyed looking at all the decorations and called her gift 'incredible'. Both the adult and child snacks were great and we thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Thank you for putting this on and making Christmas feel a bit more special this year.

Just back from the Festive Express.Brilliant!!The staff are all so lovely, friendly and smiley. The train ride was long enough to keep my grandson amused without getting bored.Santa was amazing and it was the REAL Santa not a pretend one!!Covid safe with social distancing measures in place, every other compartment empty and masks worn in the station/gift shop etc.Highly recommended.

Totally bummed. Not worth the cost. The train was nice and everyone was really friendly. The drinks and treats were good. It’s a pretty short train ride, but it was good enough. We were rushed so fast through Santa I barely got one picture that I had to fight to stay for. This was my son’s first Santa experience and the girl elf gave us the bag with the gift and then rushed us away. I was looking forward to this for weeks for my son and I’m so sad this was it. Santa made several remarks like “okay then” and “bye now” after less than ONE minute. There was another family ahead of ours and we patiently waited for them to have their time and pictures. So sad. I would find another experience for your children if I were you.

We did the santa experience, it was very well planned with plenty of social distancing, the presents were age appropriate, we would go again

Weekend away and my friend and I decided to go on a train adventure as we stayed at Caister on Sea holiday park weekend before the second lockdown It was a good experience, had to drive an hour from Caister to Aylsham. Parking available outside of the station at Alysham free of charge. We turned up early and could sit at the stations cafe area under strict social distancing measures. Tickets available to purchase both over the phone and in person at the station. Masks must be worn at all times in and around the station. Toilet facilities available at both ends (Alysham station and Wroxham station) It was 45mins ride both ways, staff and attendants were quite friendly and helpful, willing to change ticket times to accommodate us. Carparks quite secure and refreshments available to purchase if you need to wait for your train to arrive, sitting plan was great and comfortable..no toilets on board as very small seating cabins The views were lovely and tranquil Loads of signposting to show which direction to go and how to keep safe with social distancing Wroxham has a small town which is about 15mins walk from the train station if you have enough waiting time..cash machine, retail shopping, food shopping, dining etc available here Overall it was a nice activity and lil kids would really enjoy it too
