Among many different handpan makers, I consider Chaya to be one of the best. Great quality material and beautiful sounding instrument - that's the value you get no matter if you are a professional musician, or just an amateur learning to play for fun. I recommend this maker many times!

Purchased a lovely Chaya Ysha Savitah D customized 10 notes. Couldn't be happier with my choice. It's a stable and precise Instrument, beautiful rich heaven-like sound and long sustain. Harmonics and shoulders perfectly tuned, it's simply a wonderful sound sculpture. Absolutely recommended! Marcello
The Chaya handpan (D minor) is the third handpan I play and I must say this for me is the keeper. I don't like the harsh slapping sounds that most cheap handpans have. I can often hear how the two bowls touch each other. Especially during recording it annoys me. The sound of the Chaya is warm, kind, gentle as I believe it ought to be. I fell immediately in love with it! The recording is easier as well as again the metallic kind of slap sound is much softer than the ones I recorded before and has a perfect and beautiful resonance. Apart form a better sound, I love the shape. It feels really natural and easy on my lap. I don't have to reach my arms that far because its higher and the notes are closer to my body, which makes it easier to play. Although I must say that the customer service at my former handpan builder was really good too, Chaya on this point really scores high. Easy to access, very friendly and personal. In short; I can highly recommend it. Thank you Henk Jan and Rastislav Belco for being so passionately involved! You can hear that love and passion back in the sound!

Ik heb als professioneel (straat)muzikant 25 jaar door Europa gereisd met oa mijn Hangs en handpannen. Grootste deel van deze tijd heb ik op een PanArt Hang gespeeld en tevens op een BellArt handpan. Later ook nog op een Ayasa handpan. De laatste jaren speel ik naar volle tevredenheid op een prachtige Chaya handpan in D-mineur. Mijn Chaya handpan heeft een mooie warme klankkleur en is enorm stabiel. En dat is nodig want ik speel behoorlijk hard. Deze Chaya gaat nu altijd mee op mijn reizen naar Thailand, een kwaliteits handpan welke ik van harte aanbeveel. Op dit moment ben ik weer in Nederland en geef ik vanuit Enschede handpan lessen en werk ik als kunstenaar. Frits van der Lee - kunstenaar, muzikant, levensgenieter.
Ik ben de trotse eigenaar van 2 prachtige Chaya's. Vanuit mijn werk als drummer en handpanspeler kom ik in aanraking met veel verschillende handpannen, maar Chaya steekt er wat mij betreft met vlag en wimpel bovenuit. Ik zoek in een handpan een mooie balans tussen een warm/diep geluid en genoeg toon/scherpte. Mijn handpannen zitten daar perfect tussenin, waardoor ze breed inzetbaar zijn en altijd te gek klinken. Ik speel al jaren met veel plezier op Chaya, en zal dat nog veel jaren blijven doen!
Ik ben een Chaya Handpan endorser, geweldig instrument! Met trots speel ik erop!
