You can always tell a place is good when you see so many people being turned away as there isn't enough room... All the food we had was fantastic, especially the orca fries and everything is at a reasonable price, even the drinks. Very Covid safe and great staff, we really enjoyed our visit, even with the missus moaning about the paper plates and plastic forks.

Went to this place on a weeekend afternoon and the lunch was quite good, mostly was the starters like menu but the chole and puri was good as well. The best and light starter I personally like and would recommend be - The Okra Fries. If you're going to order this option for 2 people then be careful about vegeterian and vegan option as one of them would bring you the daal. The menu may be differnet at differnet places due to the virus situation. The food here is ordered and paid over an app so a nice mobile network is recommended :-) Definitely recommended as I tried this in Leeds as well in Manchester!

We ordered the bhaji butty, vada pav, raghda pethis, chole saag, okra fries, bundo chaat and mango lassis. I'm a simple gal (sometimes), I see okra fries, I order it. Out of all the things I ordered, these were my favourite - delightfully crispy and amazingly flavoured. Bundo chaat was colourful, had many different textures mixed in each bite, and I particularly liked the crispy samosa skin in each bite and the sweetness from the tamarind chutney . The raghda pethis was similar but I preferred the bundo chaat more just because of the samosa skins. In terms of the burger buns, I liked both, however thought the vada pav was quite heavy as it was deep fried mashed potato in a bun. I won't lie, I felt pretty full by the time I got to the chole saag but I found the puri quite greasy and the chole saag just had too much liquid and wished it would be perhaps thicker. I loved the mango lassi, however didn't find it enjoyable once the sweet garnishing reached the bottom, it had this strong aniseed flavour - not a fan. By the end of the meal, we were pretty full and couldn't finish everything. It was quite heavy for a lunch and just didn't have it in me to take the rest away (a first) however I'm glad I tried this place. I always love a meal with lots of different things to try and definitely left full.

Really liked this little place!! Really nice interior, great atmosphere - the people were really helpful, we'd not been before so they explained the details in the menu and provided some recommendations which were spot on! Food came really quickly and was fantastic, all for a really great price too - we'll be going back!

Good atmosphere. Welcoming staff. A bit slow on service but that's forgivable in Covid times. Food and beer is good and good value but read the menu before you go, it won't be be everyone's cup of tea but we enjoyed it
