Generous portions at reasonable prices, we were staying in a nearby hotel. Very friendly staff, music a little offbeat and intermittent but a nice selection of ales and spirits in a historic pub with a very local feel. Would definitely recommend.
Loved that we could enjoy our time here with our dog. They offered a complimentary dog biscuit for him too and water set out for him to enjoy. Lovely staff who wrte very helpful and respectful - Especially with social distancing. We didn't enjoy our meal as much as we would have hoped (the only reason its a 4/5) perfectly good pub grub, just hoped for more given the price. However with that said we would gladly enjoy a cold drink or 2 here again.
Warm, welcoming pub. Good food & good beer. Cosy enough for the dogs to fall asleep under the table.
Only popped in quickly. Good pints, friendly polite service and the place looked really smart. Plan to come back properly soon.
