Whilst on holiday last month we had a beautiful meal, great wholesome food. A piping hot jacket potato with generous filling of tuna, and crisp side salad, my other half’s steak and kidney pie was to die for, lovely puff pastry with enough meat in it to empty the butchers window, lovely thick gravy, hot chips and seasonal veg. Service with a smile, defo a place to eat and enjoy the delicious menu

Free nights stop over in a very large car park courtesy of the very friendly landlord. Only keg ales on at the moment but to be expected in the strange times of Covid-19 regulations and slow turnover of beers. that's not to demean the beers served though, very tasty and welcome after a nice leisurely country, disused railway line and shoreline walk, starting only 50 yrs from the pub down a quiet country lanes, just 5 mins walk to the beach!!!, even better after a relaxing chill out in the sun in the beer garden. 'I'll be back' to quote a well known terminator
Really tasty steak burger and steak & kidney pie was nice too. Good sized portions - will fill up everyone! Staff very friendly
Very reasonable price. Cask ale not available at time of ordering which was disappointing but they do usually have it. Standard carvery fare. Kids liked the slushies.
Holidaying in Anglesey and found this nice pub that did a lovely carvery, generous portions of meat carved by the chef and good selection of vegetables. Very good value at only 7:50 per head. Highly recommended.
