This church is a patrimonial monument - it was built between 1783-1787 and inaugurated at September 25, 1787 when the church received the name of "The Saint Emperors Constantin and Elena". The founder of this spiritual objective was a local noble (the Romanian term is Boier or Boyar) named Constantin Nenciulescu. This church is beautiful, has baroque carved sculptures (borders) for the windows and the doors. The entire iconography is byzantine, very old style but it was neglected, it needs a restoration. The church was repaired and refreshed between 1964-1968 and in 1995. It is in the vicinity of an elementary school, the former house of a local noble named Otetelesanu and it will by in the vicinity of a future community educational center!
