First off it is not paved or level. I would not recommend this trail for anyone with a wheelchair or stroller. The path was very slippery and muddy in several places (it rained 2 days ago). Some areas had gravel. Other areas had wooden elevated walking paths that were often far apart and uneven.The area is beautiful though. It was great to see the trees, streams and little bridges. It was very peaceful we walked for 30 mins without seeing another person on a Saturday afternoon.

Loved it. I made my way to mill creek nature center by walking from the Gwinnett Environment & Heritage center (round trip 4 miles). If you plan to go this way, walk down the stairs that run along side the heritage center, turn left at the old house and barn, cross the road to get onto the ivy creek greenway, after you pass the bathrooms and dog walk area make a left and cross over the board walks. Along the way you will pass an “waterfall”, under the highways, eventually the trail will run into gravel straight or paved to the left. Proceed straight and the nature center is about a 1/4 of a mile into the woods. Exploring the board walks was fun and reminded me of running through the board walks as a kid in FL. I’ll be back. Enjoy!!!
Love this place. So peaceful. No matter the season. A great place to spend with your family.
Not many people know this place exists but it's a real gem and a good way to kill time outside the mall while people shop inside. There's even some geocaches in this area.
Nice scenery and wildlife. Plenty of potential for nice photographs .
