They were great. Very professional. Transparent. Responsive. And came prepared for one of two different problems :).
I read the reviews and decided to give them a try. I called them and spoke to a person the first time I called. He gave me a date and arrival window. He was on time, personable, honest and affordable. I called him to fix my dryer. Dryer part would have cost more money than I wanted to put into it so I opted not to fix it. He ended up fixing my washer that had been broken for over a year. I thought it was beyond repair and was waiting to have it hauled away. I had been using a small portable apartment washer. I couldn’t believe he had my washer quiet and washing like it was new in 10 minutes. I wish i had called them sooner. Overall I was very pleased with Budget Appliance Fix. Couldn’t have asked for much more. I would definitely not hesitate to use them again.
My refrigerator was leaking. I called and made an appointment to have someone come out to diagnose the problem. They gave me an appointment for one week later. My window was from 11am-1pm. I received a call from a female at 12:40pm who said the technician was delayed due to the prior job and that he would come at 2pm. I agreed to the new time. At 2:20pm, the technician had not arrived. I called back and spoke to a female and explained that no one had shown up. She did not explain what happened; however, she did apologize and asked if I could reschedule. I rescheduled for the following day with a window from 3:30pm to 5pm. I waited and waited; however, no one came nor did I receive a call back. I used this company once in the past and I had no issues. I Specifically tried to do business with this company; however, apparently something has changed in their practice. I waited over a week for service and my refrigerator is still leaking. I am in the process of looking for service with another company.
Outstanding experience having our oven repaired the day after I called. They were in and out in less than an hour. Gave me a diagnosis within 20min, had the replacement part with them & installed it within another 20min. Saving to my contacts for any future appliance issues, thanks so much!
False advertising on website. States washing machine repair 99 or less \guaranteed no hidden cost\. Service repairman came out and looked at it, said it'd be over 150 for parts he had to order, then charged a 40 service fee and left. Still have a broken washer and out money for service fee. Not the guaranteed 99 or less washing machine repair that's stated on their website. Reply to owners reply: I can post the definition of rude if you'd like. Raising your voice and talking over me on the phone. I never received any texts from you either, or the 40 you said you'd refund. So that'd be why I left you a poor review. Poor customer service skills.
I was given a time for someone to come. Waited and waited. Nobody showed up. Nobody even bothered to call and say they weren't coming. You had an appointment with my husband. I gave him your contact information. You were supposed to come Friday morning and never showed. You enjoy your day as well but I don't have the wrong people.
Mr. Simmons did an awesome job. My fridge was not making ice the way it should and food was spoiling in the fridge and there was a leak. He took things apart and put them back together. We had a discussion and he decided there was nothing to fix so he charged me the trip charge. My fridge is working like it’s brand new. I don’t know what he did, but he did fix it. I would highly recommend him to anyone. From now on, he’s my fix it guy. Thank you Mr. Simmons you are awesome
